HTS system components
Headland kit
The headland kit is the system that secures the net to the head of the vine rows. Thanks to the HTS tensioning poles, the net can be adjusted easily and safely by a single operator. A properly tensioned net is essential to ensure that the HTS system works correctly.
Inter-row structure for lifting the net
The structure controls the net along the row. It is used to easily lift and lower the net at any time, facilitating the various manual or mechanical operations required. Opening and closing is easy thanks to a spring system that controls the lifting arms, preventing accidental release. They can be assembled onto any type of pole (cement, metal, wooden) at a distance of 15/20 metres from each other and are made entirely of galvanised steel.Specially designed PVC plates (see image alongside) connect the nets to the arms of the structure and maintain both the flexibility of the system and correct tensioning of the net.
Hail protection net
The net is made from strengthened knitted mesh, specifically designed for the HTS inter-row structures and tensioning via the headland kit. Normally, leno nets of different colours and heights are used according to specific needs of the variety of grape being farmed and the needs of the customer.
Spacer bracket
This accessory effectively keeps the net off the bunch in the event of hail storms with strong winds. It also keeps the net at the correct distance, preventing it from resting on the bunches during ripening.
Hail protection plate with securing clip
The practical and useful plates are used to secure the net and close the system for the winter.
Benefits:
– Quick clipping and unclipping (without compromising functionality of the net)
– Net holding clip which allows to gather the net in one easy step, with a stable and long-lasting fastening system
